Editor Assistant for the Journal of Lesbian StudiesAt — CSUF - College of Humanities & Social Science

Interns will join the Journal of Lesbian Studies editorial team. As part of the editorial team students will conduct extensive internet (google) searches to identify and solicit submissions to the Journal. Interns will help with social media outreach and engagement including a podcast. Interns will aid with research on lesbian and queer identities and read and summarize scholarship on this topic. Students will also help with copy editing or reference check for journal submissions and other editorial tasks.

Description Of Tasks

1. Conduct internet searches for authors and researchers working on lesbian identity, sexuality, queer politics and queer theory.
   2. Solicit submissions for the Journal of Lesbian Studies
   3. Read and summarize literature on lesbian and queer identities
   4. Assist with research on lesbian identity and queer politics
   5. Help with social media outreach and engagement
   6. Help with the production of a podcast for the Journal of Lesbian Studies
