Opportunity Summary 

We are looking for detail oriented, enthusiastic, and driven interns to work in our LA & NY offices starting in [MONTH]. We expect all interns to commit 2-3 full days to the internship with a break for lunch, totaling 15-20 hours a week. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for pop culture and fashion, is in touch with digital trends, and has great writing/communication skills.

Internship Program:
Each intern will be assigned to 1 senior level team member and 1-2 juniors/coordinator to mentor them and assist them with on-going projects based on their client list. Additionally, our team hosts weekly zooms for all interns to get to know each other, review different important databases and skills through writing and resume workshops, and host Q&As with other team members.

Job Qualifications:
All applicants must be enrolled in a university and able to receive school credit for this unpaid internship. If in person, applicants should be living or planning to live in Los Angeles or New York with access to their own transportation and a computer/laptop with Microsoft Office and Internet access. If virtual, interns must be prepared to work in PST or EST time zones and must have a computer/laptop with Microsoft Office and Internet access.

Tasks:

-Research on-brand celebrities/influencers or editors
-Track social media and editorial sites for placements
-Draft pitches targeted towards influencers and/or editors
-Track samples using Mayvien and update our online inventory
-Research social media and fashion trends
-Assist with research for upcoming events
-Package influencer and celebrity gifting
-Work with programs like: Muckrack, Fashion Monitor, Mayvien
-Assist with social media giveaways, events
-Writing trend reports
-Monitor and clip press for client reports
-Assist on-site with showroom organization and stylist visits

Training:

Students will be assigned one designated supervisor to report to daily who will assign projects and to shadow. Students will attend weekly zoom meetings where workshops will be held for all databases and platforms used within the agency.

Learning Outcome:

Students will become well equipped to work an entry level position at a PR agency by shadowing a designated showroom coordinator who will delegate projects.
