Tasks:
Assist with filing
Attend punctual to classes
Assist with materials in classes
Learn curriculum provided
Be available to educate families about mental health topics learned with curriculums
Support teachers by providing the arts materials available at site
Contacting families to inform about activities
Participate in groups
Other tasks as needed
Training:
Weekly meetings
Shadowing in Therapeutic Arts classes
One on one training on administrative procedures
Other online required trainings
Learning Outcome:
Learn skills in the following areas:
Comprehensive Onboarding: We ensure a smooth and supportive introduction to our programs. Student will learn to conduct intakes
Workshops for Parents: Empowering parents with insights and tools for assisting their children's development. Student will learn the curriculum and how to implement in the workshop for parents.
Therapeutic Arts, Dance, and Music Classes: These skills-based classes offer a space for consistent happiness and routine while exposing neurodiverse children and youth to artistic stimuli. Student can shadow teacher and learn how to do interventions.
