Job description changes from semester to semester as the needs of the organization evolve and change. 

Tasks:

The duration of the internship will provide Emma with hands-on experience creating content that will be shared with our nearly 13,000 follower Instagram community, developing engagement strategies that grow our following. Emma will play a crucial role on our content team as she collaborates with other interns on social media posts. Emma will be responsible for scheduling independent time weekly where she will gather relevant data points, pictures, and testimonials from those in our targeted demographic. In the second half of the internship Emma will be engaging with our community by finding new ways to grow our following. She will be researching engagement and growth strategies and will be provided relevant resources on how to do these things from professionals in the field. Ultimately we want to have Emma’s development in mind throughout the entire internship. Emma has identified that she is looking for experience in social media management and we are looking to provide her with that experience as she partners with our social media manager working on scheduling content and leading a team.

- Attend biweekly all team meetings to discuss current projects
- Contribute to the growth of College Moxie through idea sharing, team support, content creation, etc.
- Communicate with social media supervisor via Google Meets, Email, Phone Call, and Texts
- Utilize internal project management tools to track and display progress of projects

Training:

- Mandatory orientation
- Bi weekly all team check ins
- Weekly touchpoint with site supervisor
- Access to company guides and training platforms-

Learning Outcome:

- Identify and create targeted health and wellness social media content that is relevant to our desired demographic
- Work collaboratively across a team of interns and professionals in a remote work setting
- Facilitate conversation around college women's health and wellbeing strategies and practices
