Outreach Coordinator InternAt — Women\u2019s Journey Foundation

We are looking for Interns who wish to help advance our services to at-risk kids. To help build confidence in Girls and Boys. Assist with all productions and events. Help fulfill our outreach goals. We use Google Docs, Sheets etc

Tasks:

Track results from our free self-esteem program and report to the board with findings. Schedule facilitators for various workshops/programs/productions with non-profit partners. Communicate with volunteer teams for scheduling. Document our events/programs/productions. Research grants.

Training:

Orientation. One on one meetings with Board President, Job shadowing for specific skill sets with board members. Will follow up on behalf of Board President to insure our maximum outreach. Point of contact for non-profits

Learning Outcome:

Interns will help organize, plan and cop-produce programs and productions
Interns will organize teams to reach outreach goals
Interns will learn effective communication skills ie recruitment of volunteers
Will learn Organizational skills and systems of measurement
