Description of Tasks
1.b Customer Engagement and Sales Support
- Assist customers through the ordering process, providing recommendations for designs and styles that align with their preferences.
- Implement sales strategies to achieve commission-based goals, track sales performance, and contribute to overall revenue growth.
2. Marketing and Branding Execution
- Promote new designs, styles, and exclusive offers by creating and sharing engaging content across social media platforms and within campus networks.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns that boost brand awareness and drive sales.
3. Social Media Content Creation and Management
- Create and manage social media content, including TikToks, Instagram Reels, and other engaging formats, to highlight the brand's latest products and promotions.
- Monitor social media engagement and provide feedback on campaign performance to improve content strategy.
4. Event Planning and Networking
- Build relationships with sororities, fraternities, and campus organizations to coordinate promotional events and partnerships.
- Represent the brand at campus events to foster community connections and generate sales opportunities.
5. Trend Analysis and Product Feedback
- Stay informed on current fashion and design trends to recommend new products and suggest improvements to existing offerings.
- Collect and report customer feedback to inform marketing strategies and product development.
6. Collaboration on Marketing Strategies
- Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement creative campaigns designed to boost brand recognition and sales.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on marketing initiatives and promotional efforts.
7. Professional Development Activities
- Engage in training sessions on social media marketing, customer relationship management, and brand promotion.
- Build a professional portfolio documenting accomplishments and skills gained during the internship.
8. Administrative Support and Reporting
- Maintain organized records of sales, marketing activities, and customer interactions to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare weekly reports summarizing tasks completed, goals achieved, and lessons learned.
By focusing on professional tasks such as sales, marketing, event coordination, and strategic collaboration, this internship provides a meaningful opportunity to earn college credit while gaining practical experience in PR and fashion.
Training
The training for this program includes a mandatory onboarding session to kick off. Followed by monthly group assignment calls and one on ones. There will also be various meetings with people at HLH to discuss real world application of various marketing objectives.
