Role Description

This is a Junior Project Manager position at BPS Builder. The Junior Project Manager will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as material take-off, budgeting, construction management, communicate with contractor. architecture coordination, and inspection of projects. The ideal candidate is working toward the Construction PM degree or having 1 year experience in the same field.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the Construction Industry either in the field or with school experience
  • Ability to use Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD
  • Proficient in basic technology and software including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Apple iOS
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Pursuing a degree in Construction Management or recently graduate
  • Must be located in Orange County to be considered

Training:

The first month, students/workers are received 30-day probation period in order to evaluate the capacity and ability from both sides. During the probation, new employees will be shadowed the project manager to learn about company's workflow, the process of paperwork, and actual daily performance expectation.
From the second month, employees are welcome to management a small actual project under manager's instruction and observation.

Learning Outcomes:

- Understand the realistic workflow of the construction projects
- Directly communicate with different parties included in the project, such as subcontractors  
- Successfully estimate the cost of the projects
