Opportunity Summary

Training  

- Provide clear guidance and mentorship on all aspects of athletic event management.
- Offer hands-on training in event planning, logistics coordination, and marketing strategies.
- Facilitate regular check-ins to review progress, address challenges, and provide constructive feedback.
- Create opportunities for the student to take on meaningful responsibilities and lead specific tasks.
- Support the student in networking with professionals and exploring career pathways in athletic event management.

Tasks/Duties  

- Successfully planning and executing specific aspects of athletic events, such as scheduling, venue setup, or participant coordination.
- Communicating effectively with event staff, vendors, and participants to ensure smooth operations.
- Responding proactively to on-site challenges and providing practical solutions.
- Creating marketing materials or campaigns to promote events and drive engagement.
- Delivering a detailed post-event report, including evaluations of outcomes and recommendations for future improvements.
- Showcasing growth in organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills through their contributions to the events.
