Opportunity Summary 

Are you looking for a meaningful internship where you can make a difference and gain valuable experience? Our non-profit organization is offering 4 in-person internship positions this semester as Community Engagement Liaisons!

What Does a Community Engagement Liaison Do?
As a Community Engagement Liaison, you will:

  • Serve as a bridge between our organization and the community, fostering strong relationships.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support outreach programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Assist with identifying community needs and implementing impactful solutions.
  • Represent our organization’s mission and values during community interactions.

In addition, interns will have the unique opportunity to work alongside academic advisors during their sessions with high school students. You’ll gain firsthand experience in mentoring and guiding students on their academic journeys, helping them navigate decisions about their future.

Tasks
Serve as a bridge between our organization and the community, fostering strong relationships.

Plan, coordinate, and support outreach programs, events, and initiatives.

Training
Orientation with administration, weekly meetings to review progress and provide mentorship, one-on-one check-ins, shadowing, and periodic workshops/skills training

By the end of the internship:
