PT-AideAt — 4-11, INC/ Caspian Physcial Therapy

Clinical Physical Therapy office looking for part-time aide.Looking for someone available to work following hours and days: Monday 9-1, Wed 9-4. More hours may be available. Looking to fill position ASAP. No experience needed , will train. Spanish speaking or some spanish knowledge is preferred.

Tasks:

Duties:
Arrival on time and be available to receive patients at 9 am
Familiarity and execution of all Caspian policy and procedures
Courteous with patients and assures safety.
Assures patients are greeted in a manner that is consistent with satisfaction.
Assures patients are asked if they have made their next appointment before leaving.
Escorts patient to treatment area for PTA to take over treatment.
Other than setting up equipment and sanitization, Aide does not treat nor is involved in any treatment of patient.
Assures all equipment to include treatment beds and areas are clean and sanitized in between each patient encounter.
Assures all clinic areas that patients visit including bathrooms, hallways are always organized & presentable.
Washes hands between patient visits and is clean and professionally always groomed.
When patient volume is slow, asks Office manager for no show calls. Calls and books patients at first available spot on schedule.
Folds towels once laundered. Wednesdays takes laundry to be laundered.
Assures that all supplies needed are ordered via the Office Manager two weeks prior to need.
Other duties as assigned by Office Manager and Leadership.
PT Aide does not report to Clinical Team.
PT Aide reports to Office Manager.
Special Attention to Sanitation on an ongoing basis.
Gracious, polite team member with courtesy and consideration for all staff members.
Once supplies are ordered, immediately places supplies in designated areas.
Assure patient bathroom is stocked with paper towels and toilet paper.
Clinical areas trash is taken out at the end of day.

Training:

orientation, weekly one-on-one meetings, job shadowing, overview of assigned tasks.

Learning Outcome:

At the end of the academic internship the student will be able to know exercises, know how to communicate with patients, build trust with patients, and understand workplace culture
