Social Media Coordinator InternAt — 11TH VISION, LLC
The intern will shadow and assist in some of the following assignment categories:
Content Strategy & Posting:
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to each client.
- Create and schedule engaging content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
-Write compelling captions with relevant hashtags and call-to-actions.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic for each client.
Content Shoot Coordination:
- Attend content shoots to ensure all necessary content is captured efficiently.
- Provide creative direction to photographers, videographers, and influencers.
- Ensure high-quality visuals that align with the client’s branding and strategy.
- Organize and manage shot lists to maximize content production.
Engagement & Community Management:
-Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to maintain engagement.
-Foster relationships with followers and potential customers.
-Track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize content performance.
-Reporting & Optimization:
-Analyze performance data and adjust strategies for better results.
-Provide clients with reports on key metrics and insights.
-Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Tasks:
• Assist with Create and manage social media content calendars.• Assist Write captions with strategic hashtags and call-to-actions.• Research trends, hashtags, and competitors.• Assist in brainstorming and planning content ideas.• Shadow supervisor on coordinating content shoots.• Observe and assist with shot lists and ensure content quality.• Observe creative direction during shoots.• Assist supervisor with capturing the behind-the-scenes content.• Assist with scheduling and publish posts on social platforms.• Engage with followers and respond to messages.• Monitor brand sentiment and audience conversations.• Observe on how to identify and interact with influencers and brands.• Assist with tracking and analyzing social media performance.• Assist in creating reports with insights.• Suggest content optimizations based on data.• Attend mentorship meetings for feedback.• Participate in social media training and workshops.• Research and present industry trends.• Contribute to brainstorming and strategy meetings
Training:
1. General Employer Orientation (Mandatory) • An introduction to company policies, expectations, and workflows. • Overview of client brands, their social media strategies, and target audiences. • Training on the tools and platforms used for content scheduling, analytics, and engagement. 2. Weekly One-on-One Mentor Meetings • Regular check-ins with a mentor or supervisor to discuss progress, challenges, and goals. • Feedback on completed tasks and guidance on improving social media strategies. • Opportunity for interns to ask questions and receive career development advice. 3. Job Shadowing & Hands-On Training • Shadowing experienced social media managers during content shoots to observe creative direction. • Learning how to structure content calendars and schedule posts for optimal engagement. • Participation in real-time social media engagement, including responding to comments and messages. 4. Workshops & Skills Training • Sessions on copywriting for social media, hashtag strategy, and brand voice consistency. • Training on using analytics tools to track and measure post performance. • Hands-on tutorials for graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing for short-form content. 5. Provision of Work Samples & Task Contextualization • Access to previous successful campaigns as case studies for learning. • Step-by-step guidance on assigned tasks with real-world applications. • Breakdown of how social media strategies align with broader marketing objectives. 6. Training Literature Reviews & Testing • Assigned reading materials on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. • Quizzes or mini-assessments to reinforce knowledge of key concepts. • Final project or portfolio submission to demonstrate applied learning.

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to: 1.
