Behavior TechnicianAt — Patterns Behavioral Services
Tasks:
Student will maintain punctuality and dependability with scheduled sessions.
Student will incorporate all target goals into the session.
Student will collect data on all identified behaviors and skills.
Student will follow prompting hierarchies and reinforcement schedules.
Student will complete session notes and maintain communication with supervisor.
Training:
Student will complete 40 hours of training before working with clients which include in person role play and self paced modules. Additionally, the student will participate in overlap sessions to observe clinical programs and strategies. The student will be supervised 3-4 times per month and work will be reviewed for accuracy of data collection and program implementation.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to use teaching strategies such as prompting and reinforcement across multiple learners.
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to collect data on challenging behaviors and skill acquisition goals.
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to read teaching programs and implement them based on information presented from the instructions.
