Opportunity Summary 

The intern will gain valuable experience in doing research and outreach for event sponsorships and marketing.  They will support the creation of sponsorship packets and thank you letters.  Intern will be a valued member of the team and will be given the opportunity to learn and collaborate in any aspect of donor engagement, volunteerism, corporate social responsibility and other including knowledge of the donor life activities. 

Tasks:

The intern will demonstrate their learning outcomes by learning research potential donors that aligns with LHA mission/values, managing donors list on our data system (CRM, EXCEL), managing detailed organization in event planning and supporting our marketing manager on our newsletter. Experience in doing research and outreach for event sponsorships and marketing. They will support the creation of sponsorship packets and thank you letters. 

Training:

Latino Health Access orientation, all staff meetings, department meetings and other mandatory meeting with entire agency. Onboarding processing will be scheduled for the intern to learn about agency protocols and liabilities. The intern will be supervised by the director or manager through regular one-on-one meetings, participation in all agency staff training, and specialized training (City or state) when necessary. The intern will collaborate with the team to develop a suitable work plan and schedule.

Learning Outcome:

Learn how to communicate in a large setting of corporate partners, engagement in marketing and work mountainously in a large event setting.
