We long to see these leaders—people with a passion to uplift a community—dream, create, contribute, and powerfully impact our world.

The Marketing and Social Media Intern will assist Enhearten in accomplishing this vision through the following work:

  • Create or promote marketing content.
  • Create written or digital content (e.g., graphic design, photos, website, blog/article, social media posts).
  • Support fundraising efforts (e.g., grant writing research, donor/donation outreach).

Developing social media posts for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) twice a week.
Designing and completing Mailchimp email campaigns monthly.
Using Canva to prepare graphics for social media posts and other uses.
Assisting in the submission of multiple grant applications during the internship.
Preparing for the Annual Report (summer or fall semester) or finalizing the Annual Report (spring semester).

Training:

Orientation to Enhearten Unseen Leaders.
Weekly scheduled one-on-one mentor meeting.
Vision sharing and work samples.
Overview, content, guidance, feedback, and debriefing for assigned tasks.

Learning Outcomes:

Design and create social media posts from written content.
Gain proficiency in an email marketing tool such as Mailchimp.
Gain proficiency in a design tool such as Canva.
Assist with grant applications for funding.
Design an Annual Report for a non-profit organization.
