Seasonal Graphic Design InternAt — #ICANHELP
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Seasonal Graphic Design Intern will raise awareness of Digital4Good’s mission through the creation and design of compelling visual media. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other fundamentals; experience with Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator; strong creative and analytical skills; and a portfolio of graphic design work. Following the completion of the 6-month internship term, the Seasonal Graphic Design Intern will be eligible for advancement to the role of Seasonal Graphic Design Team Lead Intern(subject to Creative Director’s discretion).
Tasks:
Create and design digital and print materials while following brand guidelines
Design social media content for various platforms (Graphics and Short Form Video)
Develop various PDF resources for our audience (Worksheets, Infographics, etc.)
Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
Maintain clear communication with team members on status of assigned project(s) through weekly meetings with the team and supervisor
Attend quarterly Advisory Steering Committee
Training:
Students will have an initial general orientation meeting and complete our onboarding process, where they will receive an overview of assigned tasks, guidance on how to use ClickUp (our project management tool) and access key folders/documents, and familiarize themselves with the organization and its brand assets. After the onboarding process is complete, students will have weekly scheduled meetings with their supervisor and team members.
