Opportunity Summary 

Job Responsibilities:
• Consult with senior consultants to understand project needs and objectives.
• Develop safety programs based on OSHA, DOT, NFPA and industry best practices.
• Advise clients on best practices in risk mitigation and safety management strategies.
• Develop management/employee training programs and materials for clients
• Conduct loss analysis & trending to identify client focus areas
• Perform audits/assessments at client sites
• Provide overall support to the consulting team

Tasks:

Develop written OSHA compliance report
Develop loss trend analysis report
Develop written COPE report
Develop safety training materials (ppt, handouts, hands on activity, etc)
Develop a fleet safety Gap Analysis report

Training:

General employer orientation
Risk Services Division Orientation
Weekly meetings with mentor(s)
Shadowing experienced safety consultants at a wide variety of industries (at least one per week)
Pass at least one Associate in Risk Management (ARM) course

Learning Outcome:

Conduct an OSHA compliance Audit
Conduct a loss trend analysis using insurance claims data
Develop and conduct safety training on at least three OSHA elements
Develop a basic property COPE report (Construction, Occupancy, Protection, Exposure)
Conduct fleet safety Gap Analysis
