Alyssa Barrientos, a student at California State University, Fullerton, has been selected to participate in the Lucasfilm IT Intern, Summer 2025 position. The Disney Internship program offers students an experience of a lifetime, providing insight and opportunity into their field of study within a respected, world-renowned company and places emphasis on the following:
\uf0b7 Working directly in a field of study, gaining valuable experience, developing skills and knowledge that can take them to the next level in your educational track

\uf0b7 Enriching their education by participating in curriculum hosted at the Disney University, which includes instructor or self-led courses
\uf0b7 Being exposed to what it takes to operate a Fortune™ 100 business and have the power of the Disney name as standout experience on your résumé
Your student will be paid at an hourly rate of $30.00 and is expected to work a minimum of 30 hours per week reporting to Susan Brown (SUSANB@ILM.COM).

Below is a brief overview of the Disney Internship responsibilities:
\uf0b7 Build / test / deploy software applications (Linux)
\uf0b7 Analyze and automate manual processes via Golang
\uf0b7 Create REST API calls within container topologies
\uf0b7 Develop and deploy an automated method to distribute downtime notifications for IT service outages and maintenance to the Lucasfilm companies using Google app scripting.
\uf0b7 Develop and test a proprietary data management application scripting in Golang.
\uf0b7 Contribute to operational improvements within the team, such as developing scripts to solve task-related problems and reviewing existing services and reporting on findings to team leads.

Your student is scheduled to begin their internship on May 19th, 2025 and it is anticipated that the student’s employment will end on August 8th, 2025 unless employment is terminated prior to that date. Employment is \\at will;\\ thus employment may be terminated at any time.
