Assisting with rehabilitation modalities. I.E Exercise rehab, Ultrasound, Electrical Stimulation, etc. Working under Physical Therapist Aids, Chiropractors and Medical Doctors.

Collaborate with staff and other professionals to assist with rehabilitation modalities. I.E Exercise rehab, Ultrasound, Electrical Stimulation, etc.

Training:

Teaching will be on-site and during actual patient treatment. Students will learn hands on application of physio-therapy modalities and exercises. Students will learn to asses and plan care for patients with various injuries. Some studying of modality physiology at home required and reviewed with supervisor.

Learning Outcomes:

Gain hands-on experience in an office setting. Develop an understanding of working with patients who experience health or illness barriers. Become familiar with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines. Learn about local resources and services available to support a variety of patients.
