Marketing InternAt — Paulus Engineering / Acid Rain Water
Summary:
The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in executing campaigns, conducting market research, and developing content that promotes the company’s construction services. This role offers hands-on experience in B2B marketing within a technical and project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as swag, company internal newsletter, social media content, and client facing materials.
- Support the management of the company’s website and digital presence.
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategy.
- Help coordinate marketing events, career fairs, and engagement events.
- Track campaign performance using analytics tools and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and other department to gather content and insights into the organization's business strategy.
Tasks:
Support the development of marketing materials (swag, company internal newsletter, social media content, client facing materials).
Assist in managing the company’s website and social media platforms.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Help organize and promote company engagement events.
Training:
General employer orientation (mandatory), weekly scheduled one-on-one mentor meetings with the Marketing Manager, job shadowing, provision of work samples including social media postings and management, review and explanation of assigned tasks.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:
Understand the fundamentals of marketing in a construction context.
Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
Analyze marketing performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers and other SG&A teams.
