CSUF CSUSHI Study Research AssistantAt — CSUF - Public Health
Research assistant will work 5-10 hours per week to develop the CSUSHI research study for launch in Fall 2025.
Tasks:
1) Compiling a list of classes that will be used to pull the sample.
2) Management of the sample in SPSS.
3) Creation of a database to keep track of responses from outreach to respondents.
4) Visits to classrooms to field the survey in early Fall 2025 (if possible).
5) Early data analysis from preliminary results (if possible).
Training:
1) Weekly scheduled one-on-one meetings, with orientation to the CSUSHI study in the first meeting.
2) Sampling method training using Excel and SPSS.
Learning Outcome:
1) Understand sampling methods and be able to pull a representative sample.
2) Manage and coordinate outreach to sampled respondents.
3) Field the survey and perform initial analyses of the data.
