As a Behind-the-Scenes Photography Intern, you'll be just steps away from the action. In your role you'll blend into the background of sessions, capturing moments as a fly-on-the-wall, and documenting those times when everything finally falls into place and clicks. You'll gain hands-on experience in the world of BTS plus you'll have the opportunity to fill out your portfolio and grow alongside seasoned professionals.

In the studio support role you’ll step into the dynamic world of music production. From prepping the studio for recording sessions to assisting artists and troubleshooting on the fly, you’ll gain hands-on experience in what makes a professional studio tick.

Tasks

- Prep your gear for shoots before sessions start.
- Stand by for BTS opportunities to emerge organically in sessions.
- Process your footage and provide dailies on request.
- Prepare and tidy the studio before sessions.
- Troubleshoot equipment or software issues during sessions (with support from the team).
- Handle small but crucial tasks like client requests and errands to ensure seamless sessions.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization throughout the day.
- Reset and restore the studio post-session.

training

- weekly one-on-one mentor meetings with company owners to assess current asset needs
- identify gaps in asset generation and create action plans to address
- prep for the studio support role with a combination of on the job training from management and shadowing other interns

learning outcome

- produce BTS content for websites/social media/marketing
- apply knowledge of post production to match pre-existing aesthetics and seamlessly integrate new photography assets
- learn the workflow of studio sessions (prep, session support, and wrap)
- build connections with industry professionals
