REMOTE Social Media InternAt — Well-Suited College and Career Planning
Social Media Internship Description
About Well Suited
Well Suited, a non-profit organization founded by Janet Lavender—who also established Dress for Success in Los Angeles in 1997—recognizes that high school is a pivotal time for shaping futures. In response, we created a curriculum designed to help students identify their career interests as they enter high school.
Our College and Career Planning curriculum empowers students to discover their passions and equips them with the tools to explore these interests. Each student develops a personalized educational plan that guides them toward the college or technical school best suited for achieving the degrees or certificates necessary for their chosen careers.
We collaborate with schools, colleges, and community organizations to offer a customized curriculum that aligns with students' interests. In addition to college and career planning, we provide a series of employment readiness workshops to prepare students for internships and part-time jobs in their fields. Recognizing that many districts require an ethnic studies course for graduation, we have developed a course that allows students to earn credit while fulfilling this requirement. Well Suited partners closely with districts and schools to ensure all student needs are met.
