Assists the Programming & Music Coordinator oversee the on-air programming schedule and to curate TR2 content.

• Set up DJ schedules and programming blocks each semester

\n

• Manage communication and onboarding for DJs

\n

• Maintain and update the automation system and on-air traffic logs

\n

• Curate playlists and featured content for TR2 (Titan Radio’s second stream)

\n

• Monitor programming quality and assist with special programming needs

\n

• Coordinate with social media team to highlight standout shows

\n

• Track programming changes and assist with semester-end wrap-up

\n

• Monitor TR2, Titan Radio’s second music stream

\n

• Make updates to TR2 as seen fit, as well as market it to listeners

\n

• Work closely with Tech Director on promos, PSAs, and technical issues

\n

• Collaborate with team to promote individual stand-out shows

\n

• Listen to and sort through music submissions

\n

• Assist the General Manager in developing new music initiatives for Titan Radio

\n

• Create weekly official playlists, sorted by genre

\n

• Create a content calendar for local events and new music releases

\n

• Assist DJs with musical and audio issues

\n

• Assist with promoting listener engagement, such as hosting and planning listener events

\n

• Assist with the On-Air Programming and Tech Directors with any software issues

\n

• Prepare weekly reports for submission to the General Manager

\n

• Update the Titan Radio website as needed, especially the TR2 page

\n

• Other duties as assigned

\n

Training:

\n

To help the students achieve the proposed learning out comes, I help Students and staff collaborate one on one with department directors to meet weekly, monthly, and semester long goals. Work to improve knowledge and feeling of working in a radio station environment while maintaining a creative space allowing students to take chances and learn techniques to improve the outcome of their product. Practice and repetition to main and grow new found skills with plenty of real world comparable content for their work portfolio.
