CAPS Wellness Room Intern Fall 2025At — CSUF - Student Health and Counseling Center

The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Wellness Room Intern, under moderate supervision, will facilitate psychological health and wellness marketing campaigns, promotion events, program evaluations, and presentations. They will support departmental initiatives aligned with the Fullerton Forward Strategic Plan Objective 2.2 as they demonstrate effective methods on how students can utilize campus resources and proactively improve their health and wellness.

Tasks:

1. Coordinate weekly on-campus tabling events with interactive activities for students surrounding psychological health and wellness and CAPS services.
2. Design informative flyers providing students tangible resources and actionable methods to proactively improve their health and wellness.
3. Develop a social media campaign relating to psychological resilience that empowers and supports students on their academic and life goals.
4. Build a psychological health and wellness presentation around the personal strategy, style, purpose, values, and time management. Presentation will include a pre-test/post-test survey to analyze student comprehension of material and attain feedback regarding style of presentation delivery.
5. Facilitate 10 psychological health and wellness presentations to various campus partner and undergraduate/graduate classes.
6. Record outreach and presentation engagement data for the CAPS Wellness Room initiatives.

Training:

1. 1. Provide training in Qualtrics survey building and assessment tools.
   2. Expose them to vendor negotiations, contracts, and budget management for events.
   3. Utilize the Health Belief Model for campaign development.
   4. Invite HRDI, Title IX, and the Brand Central departments to provide training on developing inclusive marketing campaigns.

Learning Outcome:

1. During my internship, I will learn to successfully develop psychological health and wellness marketing campaigns targeted the student population at CSUF.
2. During my internship, I will organize and facilitate a student health promotion event at CSUF.
3. At the end of my internship, I will understand how to create comprehensive and inclusive psychological health and wellness programs for the general population.
4. At the end of my internship, I will have learned and understand how to perform program evaluation through a pre-test and post-test.
