Opportunity Summary 

    • Provide one-on-one ABA interventions in various settings (in child's home, center-based, and/or school setting)

    • Implement behavior intervention plans under the mentorship of BCBA supervisors

    • Collect and record data based on client behavior to demonstrate client progress in reaching goals in place

    • Ethical conduct and utilize discretion when handling confidential information

Tasks:

Provide one-on-one ABA interventions in various settings (in child's home, center-based, and/or school setting)
Implement behavior intervention plans under the mentorship of BCBA supervisors
Collect and record data based on client behavior to demonstrate client progress in reaching goals in place

Training:

5 full days of training to learn all of the company policies, guidelines, how to run and collect data, different teaching styles within ABA and the principles of ABA, along with constant ongoing training.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the internship, the student will be able to learn the principles of ABA and apply them towards their work with children with developmental disabilities.
Learning how to de-escalate situations where a client may engage in aggressive or self-injurious behaviors.
Learn discrete trial teaching and how to conduct natural environment teaching strategies.
