Work closely with seasoned Creative Director, 25+ years in the industry
Offering input to marketing meetings and share ideas
Assist in managing our social media platforms comprised of over 30 million followers
Assist in company marketing and messaging
Communicating with team members to receive feedback
Task:
- Organization of Event Assets, Documents and Spreadsheets
- Research Local Community (prospective dance teams, volunteers, talent)
- Communication Management (teams, volunteers, etc.)
- Creating Promotional Material (basic to proficient knowledge of Canva or Photoshop)
- Purchasing Materials
Training:
To help the student achieve the learning outcomes, I will assign graphic designs tasks, outline objectives and expectations, review and provide feedback on all work, and hold weekly check-ins to evaluate progress and learning expectations. I will also share current campaigns our organization is working on, the student may not be directly involved in as an opportunity to expose the student to larger strategy and management tasks they may come across in the future.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of the internship, the student will learn how an advertising campaign is executed from start to completion. Gain experience in event promotions and marketing designs. Additionally, the student will have access and opportunity to learn video editing, photography and other creative related skills.
