1. Provides specialized behavior intervention services to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in the home, the community and/or other natural settings. Provides parent education and coordinates specialized training and instructional materials for caregivers.
2. Completes necessary documentation including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports and exit summaries, and keeps updated with other site, program, and participant-related documents and reports. Provides child-related communication to care givers, the program team, physicians and other health care providers, as appropriate.

Training:
1. Approximately 12 hours of classroom based training on job role and responsibilities.
2. Approximately 15 hours of overlaps with experienced staff members.
3. Continued training by master's level or certificated staff members.
Learning Outcomes:
1) Identify appropriate antecedent and consequence interventions to be utilized to manage problematic behaviors.
2) Recognize parental roles and responsibilities in the provision of mental health services.
3) Implement behavior technology in the service of individuals with developmental disabilities.
