Opportunity Summary 

    • Improve current software systems written internally

    • Write new logic required for the future roadmap

    • Write unit and, if necessary, integration tests to confirm the validity of the implement solutions

    • Python Tornado + SQLAlchemy backend

    • TypeScript (Angular) frontend

Tasks:

- implement OIDC Connect for the internal build server
- learn what OIDC Connect is
- setup test environment
- learn how current user authentication works on the backend and frontend
- implement/test logic required to support OIDC authentication in the current flow
- implement front-end changes
- implement unit tests
- run new logic and unit tests in CI/CD

Training:

- orientation
- on-demand training
- code review
- real-world software development flow

Learning Outcomes:

- implement the OID Connect on backend
- get a better understanding of working with docker images for test and production
- better understand unit tests and CI/CD
