Opportunity Summary 

The intern will be learning how to conduct phone interviews, in-person interviews, and intakes of applicants.

Intern will learn our web-based treatment planning and recording system.

Duties:

  • Intern will be conducting interviews of potential clients.
  • Intern will be conducting intakes of individuals.
  • Intern will be administering an electronic mental wellness assessment for those being brought in.
  • Intern will be responsible for starting and completing a new clients profile on our web based recording system.

Training:

  • At OCRM, interns will be shadowing the Admissions Manager for the first couple of weeks, as to become familiar with what our programs offer.
  • Upon completion of this training, interns will conduct interviews for placement of applicants and report their findings to the Admissions Manager for further coaching and instruction.
  • Interns will meet with the Admissions Manager prior to and after the days goals and objectives have been achieved.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Intern will learn when a potential client needs to be referred to an outside agency.
  • Intern will become well versed in OCRM protocols and procedures regarding intake and admissions.
  • Interns will be able to navigate our vast resource and referral guides.
  • Intern will be able to input and navigate our state of the art recording system.
