Opportunity Summary 

Student will help with running human participants, including behavioral psychology studies and studies in which saliva is collected for later testing. Student will also help prepare new stimuli for experiments, organize and enter collected data, and assist with tasks needed for running the lab.

Learning Outcomes  

To help the student achieve the proposed learning outcomes, I will make sure the student is thoroughly trained to run participants by shadowing experimenters until the student feels comfortable running on their own.

Training  

To help the student achieve the proposed learning outcomes, I will make sure the student is thoroughly trained to run participants by shadowing experimenters for a month. The student will also work directly with me to enter data and organize data files. We will have group lab meetings in which experimental design is discussed.

Tasks/Duties  

The student will demonstrate learning outcomes by having the ability to run participants independently. They will also be able to use their experimental knowledge to write a student grant.
