Opportunity Summary 

The Social Media Intern will support our digital communications efforts by creating and curating content for our social media platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and social impact storytelling while contributing to meaningful causes.

Key Responsibilities:

Student will be working with the Director of Advancement & Marketing Coordinator to assist in all social media efforts. This will include gathering photos and videos, creating social media posts, generating captions across platforms, among other tasks.

  • Assist in developing content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Create engaging graphics, videos, and written content that align with our brand and mission
  • Help monitor social media channels for trends, engagement, and community interaction
  • Research trends and best practices to grow our online presence
  • Support campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and virtual events

Training:

Student will experience a general staff training, daily training with the Marketing Coordinator, bi-weekly check-ins with the Advancement Manager, monthly check-ins with the Director of Advancement. Job shadowing.
