The Blended Group Accounting Internship Program
The Blended Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the accounting field and contribute to the financial success of our growing company. Must be PROFICIENT in, GOOGLE PROGRAMS such as Google Sheets/Excel.
About The Blended Group:
We are a lifestyle management, consulting, and marketing group in the esports, music, and lifestyle industries.
The Blended Group designs and executes marketing strategies by working with top influencers in E-sports and Tech to create brand awareness for some of the largest tech companies in the country.
We specialize in understanding where the target consumer demographic resides, how they consume and share ideas, and what inspires them. We use this information to help businesses compete against the ever-changing market.
Responsibilities / Tasks :
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, account reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and process financial documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Conduct research and analysis to support accounting projects and initiatives.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Provide support to the accounting team in various administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Training and Development:
- Our internship program provides comprehensive training on accounting principles and practices.
- You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced accountants and learn about different aspects of the accounting function.
- You will receive direct guidance from a CPA and/or a FPA.
- Guidance will come in the form of feedback, mentorship, and debriefing.
- Once a week, every week, you will meet in person at the designated location, where you will gain hands on experience in a financial work environment.
- You can expect to report weekly hours and half way + at the end of the semester, you will receive an evaluation.
