Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team and support both the operational and creative sides of the business. This role provides hands-on experience in marketing, social media, administrative support, and special projects all within the context of high-performance coaching and applied performance psychology. The ideal candidate is curious about human performance, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to projects that inspire growth in mindset, resilience, performance enhancement and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and organization of client performance-related materials.
- Support social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement with a focus on mindset and resilience themes.
- Help with marketing initiatives including email campaigns, newsletters, and storytelling that highlight performance psychology principles.
- Conduct research to support coaching programs, workshops, and course development in areas such as resilience, leadership, and stress management.
- Assist in preparing materials for special projects, presentations, and events that focus on performance enhancement.
- Provide general operational support to ensure smooth business workflows in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Interest in marketing, social media, or business operations.
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in mindset, performance psychology, coaching, or leadership development (strong plus).
Training:
Intern will receive an initial orientation to the organization, its mission, and the principles of performance psychology that guide our work. Weekly one-on-one mentor meetings will provide feedback and professional development. Training will include job shadowing, review of work samples, and step-by-step guidance on assigned tasks. Students will also engage with selected readings in mindset and performance psychology. Reflection activities and a final project will help the student apply learning to real-world projects and demonstrate growth.
Learning Outcome:
By the end of this academic internship, the student will be able to:
- Integrate principles of performance psychology and mindset coaching into practical applications within a professional coaching and training environment.
- Demonstrate competency in marketing and communications by creating and supporting content (social media, newsletters, campaigns) that aligns with the themes of resilience, leadership, and high performance.
- Develop organizational and administrative skills through accurate data entry, information management, and operational support of client and project workflows.
- Apply research and critical thinking to support the design and delivery of coaching programs, workshops, and special projects related to resilience, stress management, and leadership development.
- Collaborate and contribute effectively within a high-performance business context, demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and adaptability in both independent and team-based tasks.
- Articulate the connection between mindset, behavior, and performance outcomes, demonstrating an applied understanding of how psychological concepts support individual and organizational growth.
