Opportunity Summary 

College intern will be helping at a Boys and Girls Club. At this afterschool program, we focus on academic enrichment, mentorships, and fun activities. The intern will help students with homework/projects and lead activities. These activities include STEM, the arts, cooking, and physical education. 

Tasks:

Students will help elementary and middle school students with their homework and guidance with various activities. The student will also be expected to serve lunch and snack during lunch hours.

Training:

1. General Orientation
Online and in-person trainings will be required before starting the position. These include mandatory reporting etc.
2. Job Shadowing & Mentorship
3. Weekly One-on-One Check-Ins
4. Workshops & Skills Training

Learning Outcome:

The student will be able to lead activities, become a mentor, and learn to create educational curriculum.
