POSITION DESCRIPTION

Main Objective: Plan, prepare, and implement fun art and recreational activities (supplies provided by org.) for students in our after school program who finish their homework early and need additional supervision and engagement. 

Scope of work: 

  1. Help elementary after school program students engage in art and recreational activities such as drawing, coloring, crafts, board games, cards, sports, relay races, and other engaging and fun group games.
  2. Support program staff and volunteers by creating space for other students who are still receiving homework assistance and tutoring to have a calm environment free from noise and distractions.
  3. Serve as a positive adult role model in the lives of elementary students from under-resourced neighborhoods in Fullerton.
  4. Develop healthy relationships with students and team in Solidarity’s elementary after School programs

2 locations in the Maple and Garnet Neighborhood Elementary After School Programs.
