Officer/leadership in Human Services Student Assoc- K. KanelAt — CSUF - College of Health and Human Development

This is a leadership position in which the student will meet with the Executive Board of the Human Services Student Association (HSSA) weekly coordinating and developing activities for HSSA members to engage in as well as engaging in recruitment of new members. Other duties include but are not limited to regular attendance at member meetings, website coordination and revisions, participation in all activities of HSSA, communication in person and on website, and other activities as needed.

Learning Outcomes  

1. Reflect on their own leadership strengths and areas for improvement
   2. Assert their needs with supervisor and other team members through effective communication.
   3. Develop activities from start to finish.
   4. Meet and interact with members, responding to their questions.
   5. Offer innovative activities to HSSA.

Training  

1. Meet with the Executive Board weekly
   2.Provide support and resources to carry out activities
   3. Offer ideas to enhance activities and role model ethical behaviors, good work ethic, and communication skills.

Tasks/Duties  

1. Completion of tasks started.
   2. Attending meetings and participating actively in them
   3. Communicate with supervisor and other board members regularly.
