Opportunity Summary 

Provide a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program. Plan and implementing activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of children. 

Tasks:

  • Develop and maintain assessment files on children.
  • Develop bi-weekly lesson plans
  • Understanding and demonstrating play-based activities in each age group
  • Demonstrate and reinforce positive behavior management
  • Participate in Community activities.

Training:

  • Onboarding with staff member/ supervisor to review legal aspects for a Title 22 facility.
  • California Department of Social Services, Mandated Reporter Training reporting child abuse.
  • Maintain program records
  • Communication with parents and members of community
  • One-on-one meeting with the lead teacher on an ongoing or weekly basis.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Maintain classroom environment
  • Knowledge of California Laws and requirements.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment
  • Understand the different milestones in a child's development and how to meet their needs.
  • To integrate special needs children in a positive and respectful manner
