Administrative Office InternAt — rosemead healthcare center
Intern will attend daily morning stand up meetings, clinical reviews, financial reviews, assist with any daily reports, faxing and answering calls.
Tasks:
Shadow the interdisciplinary team during resident care conferences, conduct a chart audit, review facility policies and procedures, observe the mds process and map how it impacts facility reimbursement, review staffing schedule and budget for the day, stand up meeting or huddle recording task and follow ups.
Training:
Intern will go through orientation process and hiring, attend daily stand-up meetings reviewing facility census, clinical issues and staffing. Intern will shadow administrator daily reviewing operating budget, census, staffing and any reports needed. Intern can assist with phones and faxing. Intern can shadow for any care conferences.
