Learning Outcomes  

- Develop and execute marketing material for library programs, events and services
- Create professional content for social media, videos, graphics
- Collaborate effectively with their co workers and demonstrate teamwork and project management
- Design way finding material and signage

Training  

- Provide hands on training in marketing and communication tools such as Canva, Adobe Create Suite and social media management as well as ADA compliance training.
- Offer guided instruction and feedback for their work.
- Conduct regular check in so they can feel comfortable with their work and deadlines.

Tasks/Duties  

- Creating social media posts for events, programming and services for the library
- Help the social media students create content
- Work with librarians on their marketing materials to ensure their vision is being met but that branding is cohesive
- Work on things like newsletters, annual reports, directories, etc for the library website
