Interns will: 

- Develop promotional material, media content, and campaigns 

- Manage social media accounts (schedule posts and creating captions) 

- Develop and utilize effective methods to track and evaluate performance of social media

- Collaborate with team members to enhance our brand image

- Write artist biographies 

- Create marketing campaigns and assets 

- Communicate with their team daily

- Scout trends and develop content calendar to social description

Qualifications and Requirements: 

- Knowledge and experience with social media a must 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Self directed independent workers with unmatched work ethic who enjoy being a part of a team 

- Hold a degree or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, music business, or similar field 

- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher 

- Plan to pursue a career in music/entertainment industry or public relations 

Time Commitment and Location: 

This internship program is remote (with optional in-person opportunities) and requires a minimum 15- 20 hour per week commitment. Social Media interns will attend two weekly meetings over Zoom. Department meetings are 30-45 minutes and team meetings are an hour to an hour and a half long. 

Training:

We provide a comprehensive onboarding session for all interns, followed by specialized departmental training tailored to individual roles. Weekly meetings are scheduled to review progress, discuss ongoing tasks, and strategize for the upcoming week. Additionally, interns maintain open lines of communication with supervisors on a daily basis to ensure timely completion of tasks and alignment with project objectives.

Learning Outcome:

Content Creation- Develop skills in creating engaging and visually appealing content across various social media platforms, including writing compelling captions, designing graphics or videos, and understanding the nuances of each platform's audience.

Community Engagement- Learn strategies for fostering online communities, including responding to comments and messages, initiating conversations, and implementing tactics to increase follower engagement and brand loyalty.

Analytics and Metrics- Gain proficiency in using social media analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize content and campaigns for better reach, engagement, and conversion.

Social Media Strategy Development- Learn how to develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organizational goals, including identifying target demographics, defining brand voice and messaging, conducting competitor analysis, and adapting strategies based on market trends and platform algorithm changes.
