Full-stack Engineer InternAt — Uplane, Inc.

Opportunity Summary 

As a Full-stack Engineer Intern at Uplane, you will play a key role in the technical evolution of our platform. You will work across the entire technology stack, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of features that drive our core business of performance marketing and ROAS optimization. This position is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional software engineering in a fast-paced startup environment.

1. The intern will demonstrate their learning outcomes by contributing to the end-to-end development cycle of new features, from initial technical design to deployment.
2. The intern will demonstrate their learning outcomes by participating in technical problem-solving and optimization tasks within the existing platform architecture.
3. The intern will demonstrate their learning outcomes by documenting technical processes and participating in team-based sprint activities and reviews.

1. To help the intern achieve the proposed learning outcomes, the CTO will provide a comprehensive technical onboarding session in the first week to introduce the Uplane codebase and development environment.
2. To help the intern achieve the proposed learning outcomes, the CTO will conduct weekly 1:1 mentorship meetings to review progress and provide guidance.
3. To help the intern achieve the proposed learning outcomes, the CTO will perform regular code reviews to ensure adherence to industry best practices and internal coding standards.

1. By the end of the internship, the student will be able to apply theoretical software engineering principles to the development of a commercial, scalable web platform.
2. By the end of the internship, the student will be able to evaluate and implement full-stack technical solutions that meet specific business requirements and user needs.
3. By the end of the internship, the student will be able to collaborate effectively within a professional engineering team using industry-standard project management and communication workflows.
