Opportunity Summary 

A Production Assistant Intern supports daily film and television production operations by assisting crew members, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth on-set workflow. This role provides hands-on experience across pre-production, production, and post-production environments.

Tasks:

Assist with on-set production operations, including equipment setup, breakdown, and workflow coordination

Support pre-production planning by organizing schedules, call sheets, shot lists, and production documentation

Participate in job shadowing and crew collaboration with producers, directors, and department leads

Help manage production logistics, including location setup, prop coordination, and supply organization

Provide production office support, including data entry, file organization, and content management

Assist with live shoots and event productions, supporting camera teams and production staff as needed

Observe and contribute to post-production workflows, including media organization and basic editing support (when applicable)

Maintain professional set standards, including safety compliance, time management, and communication protocols

Training:

Students will receive an initial employer orientation covering company policies, safety procedures, and production workflow. Training will include job shadowing with experienced crew members, hands-on guidance for on-set tasks, and regular supervisor check-ins for feedback and progress review. Students will also receive task briefings, access to production documents, and practical instruction to support skill development and learning outcomes.
