Junior Intern - Content CreationAt — Big.Ass.Kids (B.A.K)

Opportunity Summary 

The internship is positioned with the B.A.K Community Impact team, which focuses on supporting our community members through services, programs, and live events. 

The intern will be responsible for participating in a small team setting to accomplish several goals this semester: 

- Create graphics and videos for B.A.K's social media pages 

- Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions 

- Work with B.A.K artists + professionals to create short form videos 

Tasks:

- Conceptualize, design, and create social media content including graphics, banners, and short form videos
- Contribute to social media strategy to increase community engagement
- Use the project management tools to track assignments and team communication

Training:

The training that will be offered is:
- Mandatory weekly zoom meetings (3-5 a week) with team members for project updates, learning next steps, brainstorming new ideas in an educational setting, learning from other teams within B.A.K
- Mandatory online hours for coworking and group discussions 12-2p EST at which time the B.A.K senior team members will be mentoring and teaching
- Feedback on project submissions and hands-on training
- Mid-semester 1:1 check-in with B.A.K senior team
- Final presentation from intern to entire B.A.K team

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to:
- Strategize social marketing content 
- Create industry standard assets 
- Manage a real life project timeline 
- Engage and work with a team 
- Contribute to ideas in a large group setting 
- Communicate while working on a remote team
