Opportunity Summary 

Assist in the care and supervision of children. Interpret and implement lesson plan activities. Engage children in leaning activities to expand thier growing concept development. document anecdotal notes about children's skill level and functioning on a developmental continuum.

Tasks:

Assist in the care and supervision of children. Interpret and implement lesson plan activities. Engage children in leaning activities to expand thier growing concept development. document anecdotal notes about children's skill level and functioning on a developmental continuum.

Training:

Interns will work along side Master Teachers as they model appropriate interaction in various situations and parts of the daily routine. Will meet regularly with members of the teaching team to review developmental milestones of the children in the classroom, develop plans based on ongoing assessments, and review and reflect on events in the classroom and create plans based on those reflections.Observe Master Teachers as they implemnt lesson plans, and take on executing specific activities with the Master Teacher observing and providing feedback.

LEarning OUtcome:

The student will be able to provide supportive and appropriate interactions individualized to the needs of the children.
Student will be able to create lesson plans based on child outcomes from ongoing assessments.
Student will have knowledge of Desired Results Measures and be able to observe and assess children over time based on the assessment criteria .
