Rehabilitation AideAt — Providence, St. Jude Medical Center

Rehabilitation Aide will provide patient care under the supervision of the Manager and Licensed Physical therapist or occupational Therapist. The rehabilitation aide will be trained to assist in assigned treatment, as needed.

 Task:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning equipment and therapy tables after patient usage
- Collaborating with staff to assist in therapeutic modalities (such as traction, IFC, hot/cold pack, ultrasound, etc)
- Creating, handing out, and discharging patients through the web-based assessment system (FOTO Patient Outcomes)
- Folding and restocking linen in cabinets
- Restocking medical supplies

Training:

- Learning clinic policies, HIPAA, and patient confidentiality
- Professional communication and patient interaction skills
- Training in clinic operations including equipment setup and restocking of supplies
