Social Media Marketing and Events InternAt — Rogue Collective
We are seeking a Social Media Marketing and Events Intern for a part-time, on-site position at our space in Newport Beach, CA. The intern will assist with developing and executing social media strategies and content, crafting engaging posts for various platforms. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the planning and execution of events, collaborating with the creative team, and contributing to marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Training:
While being on the team at Rogue Collective, an intern will complete a week-long orientation that will outline the brand, job duties, and get the intern familiar with the venue and software used. The intern will have a weekly meeting with Abigail, the supervisor, to review the previous week's tasks, introduce new tasks, and get updates on ongoing projects. The intern will have the opportunity to work with many different people in the venue, as we house many different creatives from marketing agencies to painters. Projects will primarily include social media content creation and assisting with event coordination and production, but there will be room to explore in the photography and graphic design fields as well. Content creation will be in partner with the supervisor as the supervisor will do weekly meetings explaining different aspects of content creation as well as the one on one check ins.
Learning Outcome
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to create content that is directed at a niche audience to promote a service, gain hands-on experience in event production and coordination, how to create and run a meta ad campaign, and become well-versed in different marketing and content creation styles.
