Working in the 4 Year Old/Pre-K classroom

Tasks:

Observational critique from the lead teacher in the areas of classroom management, general \\flow\\ of the classroom day, implementation of Lesson Plan, input on Kindergarten readiness Assessment.

Training:

Student will be trained in classroom management, various \\drills\\ for emergencies, weekly meeting with mentor teacher, developing Lesson Plans, assessing student outcomes.

Learning Outcome:

1. Know the developmental standards for 4 year old children.
2. Recognize each child's capabilities in regards to how they fall within the standard.
3. Assist in appropriate Lesson Planning with the Lead Teacher
