Academic InternAt — New Horizon

The student will assist in all teaching areas in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms.

Tasks:

Under supervision, the student will supervise groups of students under the supervision of the core teacher. The student will support academic needs in all curricular areas. The student will be given opportunities to plan and grade lessons to support student growth

Training:

The student will be provided an overview of our schedule, curriculum, and Positive Discipline.

Learning Outcome:

identify academic and behavioral needs, apply classroom management skills, support student learning, and gain hands-on experience in educational environments.
