Carrico Pediatric Therapy Inc. - VolunteerAt — Carrico Pediatric Therapy
Our volunteers assist therapists with setting up activities for sessions and clinic organization and sanitation while getting a firsthand look at occupational, physical, and speech therapy services. There is no hands-on patient contact for volunteers.
As part of our volunteer onboarding process, we require a virtual interview, Live Scan (approx. $20-40), a negative TB test (within a year old), and additional onboarding steps that are discussed in further detail during the interview process.
Tasks:
Observing occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), and speech-language pathology (SLP) sessions to gain understanding of treatment planning, therapeutic techniques, patient engagement strategies, and interdisciplinary collaboration

Assisting therapists with preparation and breakdown of therapeutic activities, including organizing materials, setting up equipment, and adapting activity stations as directed
