  • Strong interest in branding, content, and digital marketing
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Familiarity with social platforms; Canva or CapCut is a plus

Task:

The Marketing Intern will perform professional and pre-professional duties that contribute directly to live marketing initiatives, brand development, and campaign execution. Tasks are designed to provide structured, supervised learning experiences that demonstrate the achievement of stated learning outcomes.
Duties will include: • Assisting in the planning and execution of social media content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, aligned with brand strategy and campaign objectives • Supporting brand storytelling and marketing communication, including drafting captions, campaign messaging, and content concepts consistent with established brand voice and guidelines • Organizing and maintaining content calendars and posting schedules, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with campaign timelines • Assisting with influencer, community, and brand outreach, including research, list building, and coordination support under supervision • Conducting research on industry trends, competitors, and cultural moments, and summarizing findings to inform content and marketing strategy • Supporting behind-the-scenes content capture for live campaigns or events when applicable, including coordination, preparation, and documentation • Assisting with campaign coordination and internal communication, including task tracking, documentation, and follow-up support • Participating in review and feedback cycles to refine content and messaging based on mentor input and brand standards
These responsibilities require critical thinking, organization, communication, and creative problem-solving skills and represent professional, real-world marketing work rather than simulated coursework. The majority of duties are directly related to applied marketing practice and are sufficiently complex to support academic learning objectives and the awarding of college credit.

Training:

Students will receive structured, hands-on training designed to support professional skill development and the achievement of stated learning outcomes.

Initial Orientation (Mandatory):
At the start of the internship, students will complete a general employer orientation introducing Alchemy Live’s mission, brand positioning, marketing strategy, internal workflows, tools, and expectations. This includes an overview of brand voice, content standards, communication protocols, and platform usage (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).

Task Overview & Contextualization:
Each assigned task will be accompanied by clear context explaining its purpose within the broader marketing strategy. Students will review examples of past campaigns, content samples, and brand guidelines to understand expectations before execution.

Mentorship & Feedback:
Students will participate in weekly scheduled one-on-one mentor meetings with a marketing lead to review progress, discuss challenges, receive feedback, and refine skills related to content planning, storytelling, and execution.

Job Shadowing & Skills Training:
Students will engage in job shadowing by observing live campaign planning, content creation, and outreach processes. Skills-based training may include caption writing, content planning, audience research, and basic performance analysis. Where applicable, students will receive guided training on tools such as Canva, CapCut, and content scheduling platforms.

Applied Learning & Work Samples:
Students will be provided with real work samples and references, and will contribute to live marketing initiatives rather than simulated coursework. Their work will be reviewed and refined through feedback cycles to reinforce learning and professional standards.

Research & Reflection:
Students will conduct guided research on trends, competitors, and cultural moments, followed by discussion and review to connect research findings to marketing decisions and content strategy.

This structured training approach ensures that students gain meaningful, supervised, and progressive learning experiences appropriate for academic credit.
